Do You Want To Revolutionalize Education?

It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be… This, in turn, means that our statesmen, our businessmen, our everyman must take on a science fictional way of thinking.

Do you want to want to be a part of the revolution?  I do.  My contribution is to train parents to be effective tutors to their own children and take back the power.

Declaration of Education

I read an article today by Sam Chaltain about an event being staged for school leaders, teachers, students, parents, and community members called the Great American Teach In on May 10, 2011. Learn more at Declaration of Education.

Having A Vision Of The Destination

What draws me to this idea is that I know that we all must have a clear vision of what we want reality to be if we ever want to actually get “there”. That is true in many aspects of our lives, and certainly true in our role as parents.

Imagine The Impact Of A Revolutionary Education

I am starting to write my own declaration today.  I invite you to join in.  Think about how you want your child to live in relationship to learning.  Think about the kind of environment you would like for your child to learn in.  Think about what could happen in your child’s life if he or she was given every opportunity to maximize their brain power, their emotional intelligence, and their motivation.  How could they, and all their friends, impact this world if given a revolutionary education?
